This information taken from their original source from Timeout Bahrain website. It's about the great parks to go for picnic with the whole family or doing some exercise. All park in Bahrain is free of charge.
1. Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park, Hidd
Located near Hidd bridge, it's the newest among other parks. It has biking track and it allowed everyone to ride bicycle in the park. If you don't have one, there is shop renting the bicycle for all ages for BD 1 for 1 hour. The barbeque is not allowed inside the park.
It has tower where one coffee shop has been open on top of it. There is a fee to go on top for BD 2 for adult and BD 1 for kids, but it can be used to deduct your bill when you order drinks and foods in the coffee shop.
There is a lake to where you can ride a paddy boat. Another thing I saw recently is they have jetty where there is one company now is renting jet ski and boat, but I do not have any information yet about the rent. But this park has very limited parking space so sometime it can be difficult to find parking.
Also in this park, there is skateboard park.
2. Arad Protected Bay & Park
Located near the airport, it has a 3 Km track around the bay with a wood bridge. There are two kids play ground and wide area of grass to sit and have picnic on it.
The bicycle is not allowed, but for kid bikes, there is no problem. There is a big space of car parking.
3.Khalifa Grand Park Riffa
Opened in July, what’s described as a ‘state-of-the-art’ park, whatever that is, covers 78,000 sq m and has been designed to cater to the needs of children, youngsters, families and the elderly in East Riffa.
There’s a 1km walkway, bicycle track, skateboarding zone, football, volleyball and tennis areas and an open-air food court in case you fancy a small snack while getting fit… but seriously though, it’s a real family place and will be full to the brim as the weather cools.
